Joy has her BA in Psychology from Boston University and her Master of Science MS from Central Connecticut State University. Trained in Systemic Theory as a Marriage and Family Therapist and in Internal Family Systems Therapy, her passion has revolved around bridging traditional approaches with holistic approaches for all forms of education, health, business and personal empowerment as well as creating new systems to operate from as our old methodologies will no longer sustain us.

Joy created the Charon System of Integration, a tool that is used in the consulting/coaching process that assists people and their organizations in resolving challenges and facilitating growth and personal empowerment. The Charon system also explores and raises awareness about the transformation of human “consciousness” happening on the planet today.

In addition to her personal coaching and holistic work Joy has also worked in business consulting and marketing for over 19 years.

1. Create multi-disciplinary approaches to identifying the core issues and challenges facing us and our systems that address all the levels that we exist on; mental, emotional, physical and spiritual and then tailor multi-disciplinary solutions that will work with all these levels to effect permanent, balanced and healthy change.
   
2. Raise awareness and educate people to what is going on from the “Bigger Picture” perspective and offer coaching and education that will give individuals the opportunity to resolve issues, restore health, make informed choices and become SELF-EMPOWERED.

Many people are experiencing very intense personal challenges in areas of money, career, health, relationships, religion, and emotional stress, as well as the blatant recognition that our systems and institutions are breaking down. We are in the midst of unprecedented change. Systemic therapists are trained in many modalities of change, one particular structural intervention is often used to bring about desired change called “unbalancing the system”. Unbalancing the system as a therapeutic tool or intervention is the deliberate unbalancing of a system to allow it to re-stabilize at a higher level of complexity.

Well, that is exactly what we, individually and collectively, are experiencing at this time in history.

These times are quite paradoxical. One can see that more than ever both polarities or “sides” of situations are being experienced simultaneously at the same time. For example, we are living longer than we ever have, yet more people than ever before are chronically ill and on some drug or pharmaceutical. More children are “coming in” with different types of abilities and “gifts” as well as different types of “intelligences” yet the rates of child developmental disorders and difficulties with education are at their highest levels ever. We have more products on the market for food, vitamins and healthcare than in recorded history, yet our people are the unhealthiest and more nutritionally deficient than ever before. Our Earth, environment and the creatures of the world are at the highest level of toxicity, decay and disease yet we have the highest number of organizations dedicated to preserving them. We have an extremely high number of “unaware” people regarding these issues with yet the greatest number of media venues to deliver this information. Relationships and family dynamics are at the highest level of dysfunction yet we have the highest number of resources and therapeutic “forums” to support them than ever before.

There can only be one reason why this is so – we are evolving and it is a very positive thing. We are moving into a higher level of complexity and as we do that we go through a “purging” of sorts and then enter a transition from one way of existence to another. This “dynamic” or “transition” is known and widely accepted within the metaphysical community and the timing is now critical that it be introduced to and incorporated within the mainstream mindset. Building Bridges 2012 refers to the dynamic as evolution - moving from 3rd density to 4th density - and the focus of the company is to bridge the gap between the mainstream and the metaphysical, creating new systems and solutions to our challenges that are more holistic, balanced and aligned with who we are and where we are going.
